What is polyethylene tank baking oven?
Polyethylene tank baking furnace is a specialized device in the production industry of polyethylene tanks (Rotomolding) which is responsible for melting, uniform baking and shaping of polyethylene materials inside the mold. By creating controlled heat and rotating the mold, this furnace makes the raw materials stick to the wall of the mold in a completely uniform manner and produce a uniform, strong and seamless tank.
The role of baking oven in polyethylene tank production
The final quality of the polyethylene tank is directly dependent on the performance of the baking oven. This furnace has a direct effect on the following:
- uniform thickness of the walls
- Mechanical strength of the tank
- Crack, impact and UV resistance
- Preventing burning or undercooking of materials
- increasing the lifespan of the tank
How the polyethylene tank baking oven works
In the rotomolding process:
Types of polyethylene tank cooking ovens
The baking ovens are designed in different models depending on the production capacity and the type of production line:
1. Gas oven
The most common type of furnace in Iran
- economical fuel consumption
- Suitable for the production of large and industrial tanks
- Accurate temperature control capability
2. Electric oven
- Higher accuracy in heat control
- Suitable for environments with limited gas
- less pollution
3. Fixed baking oven (Batch Oven)
- suitable for semi-industrial production lines
- Limited production with quick mold change
4. Tunnel or revolving oven
- Suitable for mass production
- High efficiency and reduced production time
The main components of polyethylene tank baking furnace
A standard furnace includes the following parts:
- Heating system (gas torch or electric element)
- Multilayer thermal insulation
- mold rotation system (arm, shaft and gearbox)
- Electrical panel and temperature control
- ventilation and safety system
Advantages of using a standard baking oven
✔️ Production of seamless and integrated tanks
✔️ reducing the waste of raw materials
✔️ increasing the speed and quality of production
✔️ Optimal energy consumption
✔️ uniformity of thickness in all parts of the tank
Application of polyethylene tank baking furnace
The baking oven is used in the production of various types of polyethylene tanks, including:
- drinking water tank
- Tanks of acid and chemicals
- Agricultural tanks and sprayers
- Septic tank and treatment plants
- Fuel tanks and oil and gas industries
Important points in choosing a polyethylene tank baking oven
Before buying or ordering the construction of a furnace, it is necessary to pay attention to these things:
- Daily production capacity
- Maximum dimensions of the template
- type of fuel used
- Insulation quality
- After-sales service and technical support
Summary
Polyethylene tank baking furnace is the beating heart of the production line of polyethylene tanks. Choosing a furnace with a principled design, uniform heating and precise temperature control will guarantee the production of a high quality product, long life and industrial standards.
